Student Classroom Behavior
Individual student behavior is measured according to our Rainbow Clip Chart. Students begin each morning on "Ready to Learn" (green). Throughout the day, students will move their "clip" up or down, according to their effort and behavior. This serves as a reminder to the student for what to work on during that day. These behaviors may be recorded in the student's Weekly Passport, if needed. Students can move back up as their behavior improves. At the end of the day, students who have reached the top of the chart may choose a sticker to place on their Passport, Agenda, or clothing. Please sign your child's agenda book each night! The agendas are in your child's Binder.
Students sit in desk groupings as Teams. Teams can earn a Tally Mark for being on task and following directions. At the end of each day, the winning team gets their team number on the calendar. On Fridays, the team with the most winning days gets to choose from the Treat Box.
